Pass, valley, Gruyères and Gstaad Road Nr.: 5
This route leads first through the contemplative Simmental, where the famous Simmental cow is coming from. Over the Jaunpass, which is more than 1500 meters above sea level, we reach the canton Fribourg. In this French speaking part of Switzerland we will visit the Maison Cailler, one of the most famous chocolate factories of the world. Later we enjoy lunch in the small town of Gruyères, which sits majestically on the nearby hill. On the way back to our starting point we stop also in Gstaad, which is known as the winter place for rich and famous people. Additional coffee stops frame the program
